According to a statement by Hakim's office, the pair has also exchanged views on the efforts being made in the process of electing a new president for Iraq, where both stressed that the political parties have to present their nominees within a constitutional time line, as reported by Kurdistan 24.
The officials pointed out that the previous experience has proven that all sides need to work cooperatively within the Iraqi political process, the statement added.
