The meeting was attended by the Iraqi foreign minister Fuad Hussain and the Kurdistan Region Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani, according to a statement released by Talabani’s Media office.
“In the meeting, the leaders exchanged their views to evaluate Iraq’s current political situation and its latest developments, for the sake of unifying the Kurdish house a joint decision was made,” it said.
“It decided to make efforts toward one stance of the Kurdish political forces in regards to challenges that confronted Iraq and the Kurdistan Region as well” it added.
The meetings will continue regarding the current political situation in Iraq, as mentioned in the statement.
