KDP says political situation in Iraq is moving towards stability and agreement

The head of the faction of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) in the Iraqi parliament pointing out that the political forces in Iraq are close to ending their differences and predicted that the parliament activities could be resumed soon.

According to Baghdad Al-Yawm news agency, the KDP official Wayan Sabri wrote in a statement on Wednesday: The political situation in Iraq is moving towards peace and closeness among political parties and the meetings of the House of Representatives will be held again soon. Sabri added: "If we want to hold early elections, we must act through an agreement and based on the Iraqi constitution articles."
