Kazim al-Haj told al-Maalomeh news agency that the U.S. is now conduction provocative attempts against the Iraqi forces on the country’s border with Syria, adding that Washington is pressuring Baghdad to push the forces away from the border.

He further added that two threats are endangering the security forces and the forces of Hashid al-Shaabi. The first one is possible U.S. attacks through the new bases the country plans to build on the borders and the second one is possible U.S. moves to ease terrorists’ entrance into Iraq from Syria and therefore bring chaos to the region.
