He made the comments in an interview with Kurdpress days after U.S. President Donald Trump stated that he would pull its forces back from Syria and would send them to Iraq to monitor Iran.
The official stated that authorities in Kurdistan Region believe the troubles and tensions in the Middle East have to be settled by its residents and the nations in the region, stressing that the four nations of Kurds, Persians, Arabs and Turks have to hold multilateral negotiations over the tensions that have remained unsolved in the past 100 years in order to prevent the presence of world powers.
Turkey does not believe in negotiation but the Islamic Republic of Iran’s policy is to settle differences and solve problems through negotiation and has made attempts in this regard.
Also a political analyst, Abdul Khaleq added that Kurds would be the main losers in the wake of any war in the region and that’s the Kurds have to do their best to prevent such a scenario an step from taking any sides in the tensions.
