According to al-Sumeriyeh news, the ministry stated in a statement on Saturday, April 6, that the ministry has received the Lockheed Martin- Made F-16 jets.

The statement has stopped short of announcing that number of the jets but stressed that according to a deal between the US and Iraq the jets had been arrived in Bald aerial base in the north of Baghdad, the biggest Iraq air base.
