Representatives from twelve federal ministries arrived in Sulaimani on Sunday, April 7, to prepare their final report on Shushme and Pishta border crossings in Halabja province and Kele and Sayranban in the Sulaimani province.
According to NRT the delegation would visit Sayranban border crossing in Penjwen district in eastern Sulaimani on Sunday.
The delegation would then move on to the other border crossings, the report added.
Shushme border crossing is located in Tawella, nearly 100 km southeast of Sulaimani. It is expected to open on April 15, according to information NRT has obtained from sources.
The Kurdistan Region currently has three formal border crossings with Iran at Bashmakh, Parvez Khan, and Haji Omaran.
