The Iraqi top official also expressed his condolences on the passing of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Nechrivan Barzani's brother who died last Monday from a heart attack at the age of 52.

According to BasNews Jabouri also praised Barzani’s role throughout different challenging stages, from stabilization process to hosting nearly two million Iraqi IDPs and Syrian refugees.

Jabouri was received on Sunday morning by Kurdish officials at the International airport in Erbil.

He also met with the Kurdistan Region PM Nechrivan Barzani to discuss several issues between the sides.
