A source confirmed to BasNews that Fazil Mirani, Secretary of KDP Politburo, will lead the delegation.
On Sunday this week, the party said it will soon launch negotiations with Kurdish and Iraqi factions over the next cabinet, BasNews reported.
The KDP has won the majority of votes in the Kurdistan Region, and it is likely to play a decisive role in Baghdad for establishing a broad-based government.
The KDP delegation is expected to hold meetings with front-runner Muqtada al-Sadr, and then Haider al-Abadi, Nouri al-Maliki, Usama al-Nujaifi, Ayad Allawi and Ammar al-Hakim.
