Ibrahim Bro told Kurdpress at the UN headquarters in New York that the Syrian refugees should return to their region and homes.
Bro stated that officials from the Syrian Kurdish council held meetings with foreign officials over the situation in Syria, including the US Envoy to Syria Affairs James Jeffery.
He went on to add that the future of the Kurds and their fate were discussed in meetings with French, German and English officials.
Bro stressed on the importance of the UN enterance into the issue of the new planned constitution of Syria so that the Syrian government and its affiliated groups would not be legitimatized to decide about the new constitution.
The Kurdish official expressed his optimism over the Turkey-US planned safe zone in northern Syria and said the zone can prevent any war in the region and the Kurdish council can be a solution to the tension n the north of he war-torn Syria.
