According to Sputnik news agency, Khalil Bozi stated that the YPG forces aided the military council of Manbij to retake the control of the city from the terrorist militants of the Islamic State (IS) but the YPG fighters left the city after the city was liberated from the group, clarifying that there are only some YPG military advisors in the city.

He further stressed that it is impossible to set an exact date for the withdrawal of the military advisors due to security concerns, adding that the advisors are training the council troops.
