"Prime Minister Barzani wished Mr. Gross success in his next position and he highly valued his efforts during his tenure in the Kurdistan Region,” according to a statement by the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG).
The officials exchanged views over the latest political and security developments across the region, including the public protests in Iraqi southern provinces, BasNews reported.
They also discussed bilateral ties between Erbil and Washington. Barzani offered his government’s support to Fagin and his team while in Erbil in hopes of further strengthening the relations between the Kurdistan Region and the United States.
