Savoji Sayan, the Kurdish mayor of Agri from the Justice and Development Party (AK Party), announced in a message on his personal Twitter account that a Kurdish party supporting the Republican Alliance and the Turkish government will be established in the coming days.
"What I am announcing is new and conclusive information: Kurdish politicians who have lined up against the People's Democratic Party (HDP), deny assassination, are religious, conservative and supportive," Sayan wrote in a Twitter message.
"They are full of unity and the integrity of the homeland. They will establish a new party and support the Republican coalition. ... Good news for everyone," he added in the message.
