Iraqi PM says dual-national can leave Iraq if they choose

<p style="text-align: left;">Iraq announced on Thursday, April 30, that Iraqi nationals holding dual citizenship will be allowed to travel to those other countries if they choose, as long as they sign a document pledging that they will not return to Iraqi until the coronavirus pandemic is brought under control.

Caretaker Prime Minister Adil Abdul Mahdi announced the measure during a meeting with the Higher Committee for Health and National Safety members, NRT reported.

Iraq&rsquo;s airports are closed for normal passenger traffic until at least May 22, but if repatriation flights take place then dual nationals will be allowed to travel if they choose to do so.
