"We are not satisfied with the differences between the two sides. And we hope that the two sides can reach an agreement through dialgue on ending the problems," Nafe Abdullah, a member of the Central Committee of the Syrian Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP.S), told KurdPress about the differences between the Iraqi Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) and the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
He continued: "It is obligatory for the PKK to respect the Iraqi Kurdistan and leave the territory of the region and not give any excuses to other countries to attack this region."
Mr. Abdullah further added: "The PKK also needs to respect the agreement between Erbil and Baghdad and withdraw its forces from Shingal."
The Syrian Kurdish official also stated: "The PKK should stop attacking the legal institutions of the region and return the management of Shingal to the people of the region."
