Referring to the unification of 25 Kurdish parties in Syria's Kurdish region, Nourshan Hussein told KurdPress that "a large number of Syrian Kurdish parties are active in the Kurdish self-management system and are worked from the beginning of the formation of the entity. These parties have felt a necessity and made a political agreement to form a union called the Kurds National Unity Party."
"The party will work on moving ahead with the strategies and making a united stance on political issues in order to be a mirror of the will of all parties in Syria Kurdistan and to continue to unite with the ENKS," the Kurdish politician explained about the purpose of establishing the new party.
The representative of the self-ruling entity went on to add that negotiations between the Democratic Union Party (PYD) and the ENKS are in good condition, adding that efforts to reach an agreement between the (PYD) and the ENKS are continuing at a good well.
"We cannot say that we have reached a final agreement and are close to put them into action, and it is too early to comment on the issue; but the initial agreements have been completed and the talks on how to manage self-ruling system and military affairs are continuing," Norshan Hussein further said.
Political unity has been made among Syria's Kurdish parties, she noted, and stressed that it is imperative for the party to be addressed not just the PYD as all Syrian Kurdish parties are a part of the process of unity.
