Kurdistan Region delegation to attend inauguration ceremony of new Iranian President Raisi

The inauguration ceremony of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ibrahim Raisi, will be held on Thursday, August 5, and a delegation from the Kurdistan Region, headed by President Nechirvan Barzani will attend the ceremony.

Nazim Omar Dabbagh, the representative of the Kurdistan Regional Government in Tehran, stated in an interview with Zaman News Agency that the Kurdish president and his accompanying delegation would attend the ceremony to be held in the Iranian capital Tehran.

Dabbagh stated that besides President Nachirvan Barzani, Peshtiwan Sadiq, Minister of Endowments, Mohammad Mohammad Saeed, Minister of Culture, and Kwistan Mohammad, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs will take part in the ceremony.

Dabbagh pointed out that he, as a representative of the Kurdistan Regional Government in Tehran, will be one of the guests at the inauguration ceremony of the Iranian president.

He added that Iraqi President Barham Ahmed Saleh would also be a guest at the ceremony.

According to Dabbagh, the Iraqi president will arrive in Tehran on Thursday morning, and the Kurdistan Regional Government will arrive on Wednesday evening or Thursday morning.

It is worth mentioning that the inauguration ceremony of Seyyed Ibrahim Raisi will be held on Thursday, August 15, at 5:00 PM in the presence of foreign and domestic officials at the Iranian parliament.
