The second phase of Syrian Kurdish negotiations has been officially launched as the party has held the meeting.
Referring to the meeting, Farhad Tale’u, the secretary-general of the Kurdistan Liberals Union, stated that "The second phase of negotiations between Syrian Kurdish political factions has begun. There is no big disagreement between the parties based on the topics discussed at the meeting. The meeting will be the first round of talks in the second phase of peace talks between the Kurds. Mazloum Kobani, the general commander of the Syrian Democratic Army forces, and William Robuk, an adviser to the international coalition forces against IS, attended in the talks.”
In an attempt to set aside differences, the two main rival Syrian Kurdish parties, the PYD and ENKS, held a round of talks a month ago and they are expected to continue the talks to reach an agreement.
