According to local sources, U.S. Army forces, which had also announced the establishment of a new air base in Hasakeh a few days ago, built a military base between Tal Kucher border town (Al-Ya’arbiya) and Hasaka military airport.

The eastern border town of Tal Kucher which is located as the eastern part of Hasaka is connected to the villages of Umm al-Kahf and Sumi Habub from the south where the presence of American forces in the area means the advance of the US military in the east of the Euphrates, according to the KRD news agency.

The U.S. military has moved supplies and troops to the area in order to clear the routes leading to Tal Kucher.
