Austrian Airlines has announced that it has added Erbil and several other important cities in the Middle East to its flight destinations, Aviation 24 reported.
According to the Austrian Airlines announcement, following the resumption of air travel, Erbil in the Kurdistan region has also been added to the country's flight destinations.
From today, August 20, there will be three flights a week from Vienna to Erbil and vice versa. However, it is said that most travelers to Erbil use Vienna to travel to other countries, such as the United States.
An Airbus A320 aircraft is dedicated to passenger flights between Erbil and Vienna.
