Turkish FM says France supports PKK

<p style="text-align: left;">In a statement, the Turkish Foreign Minister accused France of supporting the Kurdistan Workers&amp;rsquo; Party (PKK).

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu criticized French policies in the Middle East, saying: "France's behavior has changed since the beginning of the Turkish military operation against the PKK. Why does France support the PKK which is trying to divide Syria?&rdquo;

"The borders of the European Union start from the south of the borders of Turkey, not Greece," Cavusoglu was quoted as saying by Aydinlik. He further added &ldquo;that is why we are trying to control illegal immigration coming from Iran and other countries. In the EU logo, the Turkish flag is next to the EU flag. You talk about working with Turkey, but you can't even bear to see Turkey side with the European Union."
