In an interview with Kurdpress, Kufan ​​Kaneo, the leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Syria, referred to the recent remarks of General Mazlum Kobani, Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces, about the mission of these forces and the reason for their formation in Syria and stated that the SDF held an annual meeting and the leaders and military commanders of these forces attended the meeting this year.

He added: "A delegation from the International Anti-Terror Coalition would also attended the meeting and in the final statement it was announced that the forces of the Syrian Democratic Union and its allies would continue to work together against terrorism."

Mr. Kaneoadded: "It was also announced that the Syrian Democratic Forces, together with the other side, namely Russia, will cooperate in the framework of peace, security and fighting against terrorism."

"General Mazlum Abdi (Kobani) announced at the meeting that we are ready to cooperate with any party that is serious about resolving the Syrian crisis," the KDPS leader stated.

"The Syrian Democratic Forces is a powerful and influential force, and as General Mazlum Kobani said, we are ready to negotiate with the Syrian parties and the central government in the framework of the Syrian-Syrian dialogue," he said.

The party leader further told Kurdpress that: "As General Mazlum Kobani said, we in the Roj Party do not want the disintegration of Syria and we are ready to fight them wherever ISIS and terrorists pose a threat to the Syrian people."

Mr. Kaneosaid: "We seek to solve the Syrian problem without bloodshed and we are ready for Syrian-Syrian negotiations, and General Kobani is a very pure person who wants the Syrian crisis to be resolved politically and is ready to defend any ethnic group or nation inside Syria."
