The two ruling parties underlined their support for establishing a unified team to represent the Kurdistan Region in the upcoming government in Baghdad, BasNews reported.
The top officials from KDP and PUK also discussed the region’s parliamentary election which is scheduled for 30th September, according to a statement released after the meeting.
Exchanging views over the challenges and ways to overcome them was also on the agenda.
