PKK is trying to create insecurity in Kurdistan Region: Peshmerga ministry

<p style="text-align: left;">The Deputy Minister of Peshmerga of the Kurdistan Region stressed that the recent attacks by the Kurdistan Workers&rsquo; Party (PKK) on the Peshmerga forces showed that the group is trying to create insecurity in the region.

According to Shafaq News, "Sarbast Lezgin" said in this regard that "The goal of the PKK is to harm the security of the Kurdistan region, and the group's attacks on government agencies and institutions in the Kurdistan Region prove this fact."

Lezgin added: “the PKK attacks do not only target the KDP. Rather, its purpose is to strike at the achievements, sacrifices and struggles of the people of the Kurdistan Region.”
