In an interview with Baghdad Alyoum news agency, Faris Issa stated the relationship between the federal governments and the Kurdistan Region is a golden relationship, adding that: "Iraq will export 3.5 million barrels of oil, and the Kurdistan Region will export 400 thousand barrels of oil after the agreement of the parties. For the next three years, it will be delivered to SOMO oil marketing company."
Emphasizing that the Kurdistan region's share of Iraq's general budget is 12.67 percent, he added: Baghdad and Erbil are committed to implementing the provisions of the agreement signed by both sides, especially after the resumption of oil exports through Ceyhan port in Turkey.
