According to KurdPress, the Iraqi Media and Communications Board announced that in coordination with the Iraqi National Security Service, the main headquarters of Korek Telecom and three sales centers of the company in Baghdad have been closed and measures against the company are still ongoing.The Iraqi Media and Communications Board announced in a statement that these measures were taken within the framework of implementing the decisions and measures taken against the Korek Telecom company, which included closing the company’s headquarters in the Jadriya area and its three sales centers in the areas of Arasat, Palestine Street and Mansour.

The board stressed that the necessary measures will continue to implement the decisions in accordance with the law, measures that aim to protect the rights of the state, public interests and the rights of users of communication services.
