According to Kurdistan Press, the Iraqi Ministry of Finance has published its revenue and expenditure report for the first half of 2026. According to this report, the total public revenues of the ministry, including oil and non-oil revenues, reached about 35,946 billion dinars.Of this amount, more than 28,506 billion dinars, equivalent to 79.3 percent, were provided by oil revenues and more than 7,439 billion dinars, equivalent to 20.7 percent, were provided by non-oil revenues.

During the same period, the total expenditures of the Iraqi Ministry of Finance, including current and investment expenditures, reached more than 57,186 billion dinars, of which 96 percent were related to current expenditures and 4 percent were related to investment expenditures.

The Iraqi Ministry of Finance also spent more than 6,285 billion dinars on employee salaries, social security, grants, and other expenses related to the Kurdistan Region.

According to the report of the Iraqi Ministry of Finance, the total expenditures of this ministry in the first half of 2026, including current and investment expenditures, reached 57,186 billion, 310 million, 26,021 dinars.Of this amount, 54,672 billion, 854 million, 814,652 dinars, equivalent to 96 percent, were spent on current expenses and 2,513 billion, 455 million, 211,369 dinars, equivalent to 4 percent, were spent on investment expenses.

The Iraqi Ministry of Finance also spent 6,285 billion, 97 million, 458,041 dinars on employee salaries, social security, grants and other expenses related to the Kurdistan Region.
