Turkish base in Iraq comes under rocket attack

Zlikan military base, housing Turkish troops, in Nineveh governorate was targeted late Tuesday night by five missiles, the Kurdistan Counter-Terrorism Directorate said on Wednesday, March 30.

The rockets targeted the vicinity of the village of Drawish in Bashiqa, where the base hosting Turkish forces is located, the directorate said.
According to NRT the attack consisted of five missiles, two of which landed in the base and the other three fell in the mountains, according to the directorate, which also stated there were no casualties.
