"There has been no contact between the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) and the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) to participate in the Iraqi parliament meeting with a single candidate for the Iraqi presidency," Lawand Jalal told Nas News.
The point is that the KDP has already entered into a tripartite agreement with the Sadr and Al-Azm movements and insists on holding the presidency of Iraq, which is the right of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK).
