The number of the dead and injured people by the Sunday morning 5.9-magnitude earthquake in western Iran raised to 241 and two respectively, Head of Kermanshah medical emergency center.
Most of the injured were treated outpatient and were later released from hospital, Saeb Modarresi told IRNA in the western provincial capital city of Kermanshah.
He added that six of the injured were hospitalized.
The earthquake occurred in Tazehabad Sunday morning and had 25 aftershocks, Governor of Kermanshah Province Hushang Bazvand had earlier told IRNA.
