The KDP has warned that it would no longer share power in the region with the PUK after Barham Salih, a PUK representative and candidate for Iraq presidency, was elected president.
Bdulrahman, also a member of the KDP, told Ahram Weekly last week that the KDP has won 43 to 45 seats in the latest parliamentary election in the region while the PUK has won between 20 to 23 seats and therefore power-sharing in the region would no longer be 50- 50.
