Massoud Barzani arrives in Baghdad

<p style="text-align: left;">The Leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) and former Kurdistan Region President Massoud Barzani arrived in Baghdad hours ago and was welcomed upon his arrival by Iraqi parliament speaker and Fatih Coalition leader.

According to Rudaw TV this is the first time that Barzani makes a visit to Baghdad after the referendum of independence in the region on September 25, 2017.

Barzani was welcomed by Iraqi Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbosi, Finance Mionister Fuad Hussein, Badr Coalition leader Hadi al-Ameri and other leading officials in Baghdad airport on Thursday November 22.

According to the report Barzani will meet Iraqi Prime Minister Adil Abdulmahdi and some other leading officials in Baghdad and then would make a visit to Najaf.
