In a statement the commander said, the delegation included officials from Iraq’s ministry of defense and interior as well.
“Top Iraq’s military officials are scheduled to meet with the Kurdistan Region presidency and primer,” it said.
“Iraq’s delegation will also meet with the Region’s high-security officials and commanders from both the Peshmerga and interior ministry” it added.
So far the point of the visit has not been revealed yet, but the purpose might be, to discuss the latest Turkey attacks on the Kurdistan Region, and ISIS militants’ activities in the disputed areas between Erbil and Baghdad, according to information Esta Media Network has obtained.
