During the visit, Amir Abdullahian will meet with Turkish officials to discuss important issues related to bilateral ties, as well as cooperation between the two countries in the regional and international arenas.
Arriving in Turkey on Monday evening, Amir Abdullahian told reporters about the purpose of his visit to Ankara that at the beginning of the thirteenth government, Turkish Foreign Minister Cavusoglu traveled to Tehran. During the visit, we discussed a variety of issues, including the fact that we agreed to prepare a comprehensive document on long-term cooperation between the two countries and that it would be signed by the officials of the two countries once finalized.
The high-ranking Iranian diplomat added: "I am in Ankara today, in addition to consulting on various bilateral issues, the comprehensive document of long-term cooperation between the two countries will be discussed. The main focus is on this issue."
Amir Abdullahian continued: "in addition to meeting with Mr. Cavusoglu, we will also consult and hold talks with other officials of this country, and we hope to have good and fruitful talks with Mr. Erdogan."
