Iran stresses on boosting ties with Turkey

<p style="text-align:left">The chief of Iran's Presidential Office Mahmoud Vaezi hailed Iran-Turkey ties as growing and stressed that Tehran sees no obstacle in the way of promoting ties with neighboring Turkey.

In a meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan late on Friday, Vaezi presented a report on his talks with the country&rsquo;s high-ranking officials on President Rouhani&rsquo;s upcoming visit to Turkey to attend the Fifth Meeting of Iran-Turkey High Council of Strategic Cooperation.

According to IRNA the Iranian official expressed Tehran&rsquo;s readiness for promoting all-out ties with Ankara as a neighbor, adding that &ldquo;Iran knows no limits for boosting relations with Turkey, especially in the trade and economic sectors.&rdquo;

Vaezi further underscored that friendship and common views of Iranian and Turkish presidents over bilateral, regional and international issues are important factors in promoting mutual cooperation.

Erdogan, for his part, expressed pleasure over growing trend of bilateral relations, saying Rouhani&rsquo;s upcoming visit to Ankara will help consolidate bilateral relations.
