Lavrov and Mohammad Javad Zarif held a telephone conversation on Monday to exchange views on the latest developments in the Middle East, solution for the regional crises, and the Iran deal, the ministry of foreign affairs of the Russian Federation announced in a press release.

According to Mehr News Agency the Russian ministry said officials continued the discussion of the current situation in the Middle East with an emphasis on searching for ways to defuse crises.
