“We have shared views with regard to national interests, people lives, and reform. We will meet again with Gorran on Monday, February 18,” Muhammad added.
Member of the Gorran negotiating delegation Aras Wali also indicated that the meeting had gone well, NRT reported.
“We discussed topics related to the formation of the new government cabinet, the political agreement, and what kind of government will be formed. Moreover, our friends in the KDP did not have any disagreements with us with on any points,” he said.
“We have made good progress on [cabinet] posts and we will discuss matters with the [Gorran] National Council. I hope we will have good news in the coming days,” Wali added.
The KDP and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) have agreed to hold a parliamentary session on February 18.
