Halabja Governor Azad Tofiq told reporters that the delegation is to hold meetings with Iranian officials.
The meetings are seeking to promote economic ties and develope border gates, he said.
According to IRNA he added that both sides will try to boost border exchanges volume.
Developing Poshteh and Shushami gates and opening Sazan border gate are on the agenda of the negotiations between Iranian and Kurdish officials, Tofiq said.
The two sides will also try to facilitate Iranian passengers' commutes from western provinces to Halabja.
