Syrian Kurdish leader warns about IS return

<p style="text-align: left;">A leader of a Kurdish local parliament warned about the return of the militants of the Islamic State (IS) terrorists into the region as he group is being defeated.

Hedyeh Yousef, the co-leader of Syria Kurdistan Federation Parliament reiterated in an interview with Kurdpress that her people in Syria is tired of war and want a democratic system, adding that the Kurds would not retirn to the situation before the war in the country and the Syrian people should decide about their future.

She added that any decision about Syria should be made in the presence of the real representatives of the people, stressing that people in the north of Syria have decided to make a democratic system and would put all their effort into achieving the goal.

The Kurdish leader further told Kurdpress that they had created a system in the north and east of Syria and the situation is potential to be established in the other parts of the country.

The civil council had started its activities in Raqqa and Deir Ez-Zur and the people of the region can join the north federal system if they will, Yousef said.
