The KRG Representative in the EU, Delawar Azhgayee stated that the Kurdish premier has been invited to make a visit to London in New Year, Shar Press reported.

According to the Kurdish representative, Barzani is planned to discuss separate issues in the visit, with English and French officials, including ties between Erbil and Baghdad, resumption of negotiations between the two governments.

He also will meet English Prime minister Tressa May.

Azhgayee added that the EU has drawn a three-year-long plan for Iraq, which will go into operation from 2018, warning that Iraq will face losses if it does not stay with the plans.

The Kurdish official added that the EU would pressure Baghdad to negotiate with the Kurdish region.
