Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu and head of National Intelligence Organization (MIT) Hakan Fidan also participated in the meeting that lasted for one hour, Anadolu reported.
The meeting, which was closed to the press, was followed by an iftar (fast-breaking) dinner hosted by Erdogan in honor of the Iraqi president.
