Iraqi lawmakers to discuss Turkish airstrikes in Kurdistan Region

<p style="text-align:left">Tens of Iraqi lawmakers have demanded in a written letter to bring up the subject of Turkish airstrikes on the Kurdistan Region's border areas to the parliament as the air raids have lately killed several civilians.

The letter has been signed by a total of 52 MPs, in which they have also stressed on the need of the presence of Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi at the session, BasNews reported.
Apart from the airstrikes, they in the meantime, will discuss the matter of the presence of the Turkish troops in Iraq.
At least four civilians were killed and four others were wounded in an air raid by the Turkish warplanes in the Kurdistan Region's border areas, near Mount Qandil.
Another civilian was killed in Erbil province and his brother was severely wounded after their car was targeted by the Turkish aircrafts.
