According to the information obtained by BasNews, the delegation is tasked to negotiate solutions with the Iraqi government for the prolonged disputes related to budget and oil.
Earlier on 25th July, Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani received in Erbil a high-level delegation from the Iraqi government, including the minister of finance and minister of oil.
His press office said later in a press release that they have agreed with the Iraqis to form technical committees and meet again in Baghdad in hopes of developing “practical solutions” to the Erbil-Baghdad disputes.
