The death of the three men, brothers, belonging to the same sub-district, was reportedly due to airstrikes conducted by Turkish fighter jets in the village of Nerwa, NRT reported.
One week ago, the men allegedly went hunting for spring herbs in the area.
Recently, the Turkish army has been shelling the Kurdistan Region’s border areas because of the suspected presence of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) positions.
Turkey resumed the shelling of suspected PKK positions inside the Kurdistan Region in July 2015 after a two-year ceasefire between the Turkish military and the PKK came to an end.
The three-decade long conflict between Turkey and the PKK has claimed more than 40,000 lives.
Four people were killed after Turkish warplanes shelled Choman district northeast of the Kurdistan Region's capital city, Erbil, on March 22.
