Coalition for democracy and Justice won’t accept election result, official tells Kurdpress

<p style="text-align: left;">A leading member of the Coalition for Democracy and Justice told Kurdpress in an interview that the coalition will not accept the result of the May 12 elections in Kurdistan Region, calling on Iraqi executive and legislative bodies to investigate the fraud in the polls.

Hasan Bahram expressed his coalition’s dissatisfaction for the result of the polls, claiming that what happened on May 12 was puppet show not an election and “we deny its result.”

He called on all Iraq and international executive and legislative bodies to find a solution for the situation.

The official further warned that his coalition would make a different decision in Kirkuk and Sulaimani constituencies in case the related executive foundations stop short of taking any step in this regard.
