Hakim and Sadr underline formation of a technocrat government

<p style="text-align: left;">The leaders of Sadr Movement and al-Hekma Watani stated they are attempting to form a coalition with other political parties in Iraq in order to form a new technocrat government in the country.

According to al-Malomeh news agency, Muqtada Sadr told a joint press conference with Amar al-Hakim that Iraq is moving towards the formation of a democratic and technocrat government.

&ldquo;I thank those who participated in the elections (Iraq parliamentary election on May 12) and did not vote for the corrupt and supported the reformists and religious authorities,&rdquo; Sadr told the conference.

Hakim, for his side, stated in the conference and Sadr-led Coalition of Saeron and his al-Hekma Watani are attempting to form a coalition with other political parties in order to form a strong and independent government.

Hakim further added that peoples&rsquo; participation in the polls proved their interest to prevent old people into the parliament, continuing to say that we are attempting to for a non-tribal government which will try to serve Iraqi society.
