Bashar Jaafari stated Syria had Kurdish president, prime minister and deputies. There were also Kurdish university professors, army officers and ploice forces in Syria, denying that there is any Kurdish question in the country.
There is Kurdish question in Turkey and that is a different issue and stressed that the Kurdish question in Turkey is unrelated to Syria, he further said.
The deputy further told KRD News Agency that there is a dialogue between the Syrian central government and the Kurds and other Syrian sides, adding that the negotiation can happen in Damascus, Astana, Geneva, New York or any other part of the world.
Jaafari stated that Damascus refuted all division attempts in the fourth Astana talks, as self-autonomy is a kind of separation attempt and neither the Syrian government nor the people can accept the attempt.
The doors of negotiation and dialogue are open and we try to convince our Kurdish brothers to compromise with the central government, he further said.
