Kobane says thousands of people have been abducted from Syria Kurdistan

<p style="text-align: left;">The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) commander Mazlum Kobane said on Friday, January 10, that 3,286 people have been abducted from Kobane, Afrin, and Jazira areas in northern Syria and that the local authority has created a committee to investigate.

544 of the people who have gone missing were abducted by the Islamic State and 2,368 people by other extremist and rebel groups, and 374 were abducted by the Syrian regime, NRT quoted Kobani as saying.

He added that their locations and fates are not known.
