He told Kurdpress that announcing an alliance and forming a joint list between his party and the Kurdistan Islamic Union was an attempt to form a bigger front of Islamic parties, confirming that the efforts have not led to any avail yet due to disagreements between the parties.
The two Islamic parties announced in a statement on Monday, June 25, that they have agreed to form a joint list for participating in Kurdistan Region parliamentary elections set to be held on September 30, 2018.
