Putin, Trump to discuss Iran's presence in Syria

<p style="text-align:left">The presidents of Russia and the US will discussed Iran's military presence in Syria during their coming summit in Finland, a Kremlin official said.

Russian Presidential Aid Yuri Ushakov said that Vladimir Putin and his American counterpart will discuss a number of issues including Iran's military presence in Syria.

He said that it is obvious that talks on Iran's presence in Syria will be on agenda as it is one of the aspects of Syria's issue.

Iran says his military advisors are in Syria upon the official request by the Syrian government.

Washington has protested it while the US itself has a 2,200-strong military contingent in Syria.

The Russian official also said that Moscow and Washington can play a role in solving Syrian crisis.

Putin and Trump are scheduled to meet in Helsinki on Monday.
